Award winning designer in glass and crystal

Katy Holford (1962–2023) was an established sculptor and award winning international designer who specialised in working creatively with craft production across the world. Her passion was to work with the alchemical materials of crystal and glass, and she worked with many other materials and techniques, pewter, laquerware, silver and ceramics, to name just a few. She graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1992, and her career developed across design, craft and sculpture, working with companies including Wedgwood, Atlantis Crystal & Perrier Jouet Champagne. Her bespoke pieces and sculpture grace the rooms of The Savoy, Claridges and Malmaison Hotels, Royal Palaces and private residences globally.
